Homework is essential to learn and understand concepts that is given in math.  Without Practice the student will have a harder time grasping what is needed to know.

Late Work:  

Late work is accepted with 10 points taken off.  Late work will be graded before the next progress report.
Grade will remain a zero until work is graded.

Absent:

Absent work must be labeled with the word ABSENT at the top of the paper.   Absent work will not be penalized as long as it is turned in the following day from being absent as per district policy.   Work may be marked with a  zero until the work is graded and inputed into the gradebook.


NO NAME:   

No name papers will receive no grade.   I can not decifer numbers based on handwriting.   Students may redo the assignments and turn in as late.
Homework Guidelines :
· Always do your homework in PENCIL. Write neatly.
· Your paper should be lined without torn edges.
· Fold your paper in half so you have two columns for your work.
· Copy down EVERY ORIGINAL PROBLEM.
For word problems, copy down the essential information only. (use the tabel method)

· Box your final answer and include units (feet, liters, etc.) if necessary.

**EVERY QUESTION SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING DONE (you will at least have the question copied)! Whether it is all the work needed to complete the problem, some of the work, or an explanation of why you are stuck.
